Project Overview
Finding committed, skilled teammates for hackathons, engineering capstones, or open-source projects is often broken by fragmented group chats and missing skill verification. Link-UP solves this by combining structured technical profiles, role-based project workspaces, and real-time communication into a unified platform.
Engineered with React, Next.js, and TypeScript on the frontend and Supabase PostgreSQL with WebSocket channels on the backend, Link-UP provides sub-100ms message delivery, instant presence status, and granular role management. The system was designed from scratch to handle optimistic state updates and graceful offline reconnections.
